Thanks.. It's just so much work. And though the bathroom in a nice size, I can't imagine how long it will take me when I'm ready to do the kitchen floor, which is like 4 times as big..
I'm hoping to be ready to stain it tomorrow. There is a bit of water damage around the toilet which has caused the wood to turn a gray tint, so I'm going to stain the floor a dark color..
Well, back to work..

wow- that is so cool, how it looks so pretty underneath that nasty. See, you can see the beauty in something that most people would give up on, that is a great trait!

I hope you get just the color stain you want - it would be a shame after all that work to get it the wrong color when staining cause stain sinks in way too deep to sand back out. It looks great though - can't wait to see it in person. We made it home. Wednesday I take G'ma to Tiff's - she's really excited to get to go over there and spend time with them. This month is going to pass way too quickly.

It is amazing that they cover up such great wood with such ugly flooring. In my next life when abe and I are alone we are going to take care of the oak flooring in our living room. It just needs a little work compared to what you have gone through but too many warm bodies running through the house to put any kind of surface down.
